Easy Cheesy Corn Poppers Recipe Prepared In The Air Fryer


  • 500g canned corn kernels, rinsed and drained
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded light mozzarella
  • 170g light cream cheese
  • 2 large eggs, beaten (100g)
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Easy Cheesy Corn Poppers Recipe Prepared In The Air Fryer Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine corn, mozzarella, cream cheese, green onions, and chilli powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add cornmeal, flour and eggs and stir until corn is thoroughly coated. 
  3. Scoop mixture into small balls. Combine panko and Parmesan and season with salt, then roll balls in panko.
  4. Place in a single layer of air fryer tray at cook for 8-10 minutes on 180 degrees celsius or until golden. 

Serves 12 (2 per serve) at 244 calories.
