Air Fryer Keto Meatballs Recipe

How good do these look? They’re our super tasty, keto-friendly cheesy air fryer beef meatballs reciepe, and really easy to make at home and in an air fryer.

With the perfect combination of Italian-inspired flavours, these cheesy bites are a great addition to a weeknight menu. And ready in just 30 minutes, the recipe helps you to save time and calories.

Air Fryer Keto Beef Meatball Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 cups Passata
  • 250 grams baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup light tasty cheese, shredded

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180C.
  2. In a large bowl add mince, cheese, onion, garlic, egg, carrot, seasoning, salt and pepper.
  3. Mix together with your hands until well combined.
  4. Form into balls a little bigger than golf balls.
  5. Use a tin or oven-proof container that fits into your air fryer. Most air fryers fit a 30cm round cake tin. Spray the tray with cooking oil spray and place meatballs on the tray with a little space between each so they are not touching.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the tray, turn meatballs and add passata then top with shredded cheese. Return to the air fryer for 5 minutes or until sauce is heated and meatballs are cooked through.
  8. Divide spinach between 4 plates, top with cheesy meatballs.
  9. This recipe makes 4 serves. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Serves 4 at 356 calories per serve.
